SEA + HK tech magazines and journalists to be honoured
Finalists announced for the MediaConnect Asia Technology Journalists Awards sponsored by Vignette
MediaConnect Asia launched these awards several months ago, and they have been very well received by the publishing and journalist communities with entries flooding in leading up to the deadline.
The recent addition of Vignette as the major sponsor of the event has also ensured the success of the awards and demonstrated Vignette’s commitment to recognizing editorial excellence.
Following the submission of about 100 nominations for the inaugural Asia Technology Journalist Awards, finalists in the 8 categories have been decided.
The preliminary judging panel – Jeremy Torr, former editor for PCMag Singapore and KrisFlyer, Darren Ellis, former editor for PCMag Singapore, Adrian Lee, former editor of MediaMind and former marketing manager at MSN, Glen Myles, managing director for MediaConnect Asia and Aaron Koh, editor for MediaConnect Asia - made their final choices after a marathon six-hour stint of judging.
Three final judges in each category will now begin the difficult task of selecting winners to accept the accolades at the gala event on Friday July 21.
All finalists will receive a ticket to the event.
Other tickets to the event will be on sale soon and for more information please contact glen@mediaconnectasia.com
